The sun has been shining on Oregon’s stoner community as of recent, with recreational usage of marijuana going in effect last month, but for one lucky pot connoisseur his/her days might be even better thanks to a local newspaper.
The Oregonian/OregonLive, a daily newspaper based in Portland, Oregon, just announced that they are searching for a pot heads dream job, a freelance critic of marijuana!
The newspaper is following the trend of others newspapers, such as The Denver Post’s whom owns a marijuana themed editorial site called the Cannabist, in having a position in which the writer must review numerous different strands of marijuana along with the various edibles available.
Sounds too good to be true but it is actually true. Below is a quote from the job posting:
“The candidate should be an experienced cannabis consumer with deep knowledge about the variety of strains and products available on the Oregon market. The items would appear 2-4 times a month on OregonLive and/or The Oregonian.”
Interested? If you feel you are up for the extremely difficult job of testing marijuana strains, you can reach out to The Oregonian’s editor, Bruce Hammond, with his details being shared here.
