Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger and wife Avril Lavigne are separating after being married for the past 2 years.
On Wednesday Avril Lavigne took to her Instagram account to share the news of the couple splitting up. She went on to say that, even though they are splitting up, the two will remain the “best of friends.”
“It is with heavy heart that Chad and I announce our separation today,” The pop-star wrote on Wednesday. “Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we’ve created many unforgettable moments. We are still, and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other.”

We honestly wish the both of them the best, and many many years of being the best of friends. That said, time for some good old fashioned Nickelback to help with the breakup…
